The Impact of E-Marketing on the Marketing Performance: Jordanian Travel and Tourism Agencies as a Case Study
摘要
The objective of this study is to examine the influence of e-marketing on the marketing performance of travel and tourism agencies located in Amman. The study focuses on seven key areas, namely e-product, e-pricing, e-distribution, e-promotion, e-transactions, e-service providers, and e-materials. To accomplish this objective, the researchers adopted a descriptive-analytical approach that aligns with the nature of the study. A meticulously designed questionnaire was utilized as the primary data collection instrument, which underwent extensive review by specialized referees. The suggested modifications from the referees were duly incorporated. Subsequently, the questionnaire was distributed to a sample of travel and tourism agencies in Amman, with a total of 250 questionnaires being disseminated. The number of valid questionnaires suitable for analysis amounted to 200. The researchers employed appropriate statistical techniques using SPSS software. The findings of the study reveal significant outcomes, demonstrating that e-marketing has a discernible impact. Furthermore, all the independent variables examined in the study were found to have a significant influence on marketing performance at a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. This impact was substantiated through comprehensive statistical analysis of all the variables examined in the study. The study proposes that travel and tourism agencies should persist in enhancing their e-marketing strategies and implement them comprehensively in all aspects of their transactions. This approach aims to retain current customers, attract a larger customer base, incentivize them effectively, and foster a sense of partnership by involving customers in promotional activities. Furthermore, the study underscores the importance of leveraging and advancing e-products, as well as embracing e-promotion and e-distribution through social media platforms and advanced communication technologies. These measures are intended to promote e-products on both local and global scales, streamline distribution channels to reduce costs, and ultimately boost profits to enhance overall marketing performance.
