Previous chapters of this book have addressed how the EV configuration impacts individual loadcases and how the automotive structure might adjust accordingly in each case. The introduction of high voltage content into the automobile has required, however, some additional consideration and introduction of EV-specific loadcases. This short chapter provides an overview of such loadcases which have implications on structural strategy and design.
