Comprehensive Exploration of IoT Communication Protocol: CoAP, MQTT, HTTP, LoRaWAN and AMQP
摘要
The world of the Internet of Things (IoT) is offering significant business prospects and paving the way for exciting innovations. Smart devices utilize a variety of IoT application protocols to ensure compatibility among the different nodes within the IoT network. As the number of connected devices keeps on increasing, it is highly belief that the Internet will generate around five quintillion bytes of data on a daily basis. It’s important to recognize that not all these connections and ecosystems are safe, and security vulnerabilities are on the rise. This research aims to explore and analyze the features and abilities of six protocols: Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP), Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT), HTTP, LoRaWAN, AMQP, and WebSocket. It delves into their potential to operate efficiently on constrained devices, considering factors such as security measures and adaptability to various network conditions.
