Theories for International Drug Policy
摘要
This chapter provides an overview of a select number of theories that show promise for application in the field of International Drug Policy. The chapter begins by considering how the classical sociological theories of Alexis de Tocqueville, Karl Marx, and Max Weber can be applied to the sphere of comparative and international drug policy. It will then conclude with a discussion of contemporary contributions to socio-legal theory and what insights can be applied to comparative study of international drug policy.
