The concluding chapter draws together the key themes the authors have identified within the decolonising criminology space, whilst recognizing the importance of providing practice tools for those who are beginning the important process of implementing critical and anti-racist pedagogical approaches. The conclusion summarises the varied locations in which decolonial work must take place, including at the higher structural level, within the HE classroom and within the criminal justice sector. It also acknowledges how difficult a process this can be, and whilst the book provides a toolkit for engaging in this work, it also reflects on the fact that the work is an iterative process to which there is no end point. The book therefore aims to contribute to the ongoing conversation within criminology about how to open up our discipline for marginalised voices, to the benefit of all.
