Growing up in the suburban waste of Whittier, Patricia Morrison knew that music was going to be part of her future. She, along with many of her contemporaries from across the city, made her way to Hollywood to see bands; to make and meet friends; to form bands; and to develop a style. They invented a new Hollywood, a punk L.A., defined by their DIY attitude, their rejection of the mainstream, and their defiance in the face of public disapproval. Morrison, from being a founding member of The Bags, went on to play bass for groundbreaking bands The Gun Club, Sisters of Mercy and The Damned. She has been a resident of the UK since the mid-eighties.
