This chapter explores how the ecological impact of organic food contributes to sustainable development and human health. The consumption of more organic food promotes mental and physical health. Compared to conventional foods, organic food has a better nutritional value. Because organic farming does not utilize harmful chemical pesticides and maintains the integrity of the soil, it is also beneficial to the environment. Therefore, from the production and consumption standpoint, organic food enhances sustainable growth. Organic and traditional conventional foods possess distinct nutritional compositions. For example, organic foods have more omega-3 fatty acids and more potent antioxidants in their agricultural products, reducing cadmium and pesticides. Given that it contributes significantly to the emergence of antibiotic resistance in society, there is an essential cause of worry over the widespread use of antibiotics in traditional livestock farming. This chapter discusses the many recognized and potential health benefits of producing and cultivating various sustainable organic food products. Utilization of these production techniques is anticipated to yield positive outcomes in traditional agriculture and sustainable development.
