To ensure a sustainable future, it is crucial to instil environmental awareness, responsibility and commitment in future generations. Environmental consciousness and commitment are crucial for the sustainable development of any nation, and Nigeria is no exception. This chapter explores strategies aimed at instilling environmental consciousness and commitment in future generations by assessing the current level of environmental consciousness and commitment among young individuals in Nigeria.
