In this chapter, 14 typical structural reliability methods are briefly introduced that they are divided into two main catagopries as (i) 6 analytical methods and (ii) 8 simulation or sampling methods. These methods are named as the first-order reliability method, second-order reliability method, moment method, first-order saddle point approximation method, non-probabilistic reliability model, dimension reduction method, Monte Carlo simulation, importance sampling, uniform importance sampling, enhanced Monte Carlo simulation, line sampling, subset simulation, directional sampling as well as direct probabilistic integral method.
