Education is a fundamental element for individuals who function in a society, which is why over the last few years it has undergone changes and transformations that allow new views on the way of teaching and learning, in order to have the tools and skills to face the new challenges and social challenges that exist today. The incorporation of ICT and virtual learning environments have made their contribution to the innovations that are being carried out in the educational system of different countries, which has given new guidelines in the academic curriculum, for teachers and students, so that the teaching-learning process is adapted to the needs of the population and comprehensive training is achieved, providing the necessary resources to achieve the proposed objectives that strengthen and direct social transformation. The times of pandemic accelerated the application of these technological tools, causing the student population and teachers to have abrupt preparation to achieve school continuity. However, now that classes have returned to face-to-face format, there are many institutions that continue to use virtual education, due to the contributions that have been made to the teaching-learning process.
