The present research had the objective of proposing emotional management strategies for collaborators that seek to generate learning of self-regulation of emotions and feelings in the workplace. The approach was mixed qualitative and quantitative; the questionnaire was used as a technique and the survey and interview instruments were applied; descriptive research was used to know the level of emotional management and work performance, as well as to deepen the characteristics of these variables; explorative research was also used. The study population consisted of 17 internal and external collaborators between 24 and 50 years of age, between men and women, belonging to an organization in Ecuador, who represent the finite sample of this research, giving rigorous, measurable and reliable results of this study. As for the proposal of emotional management strategies, experts in psychology were consulted for the evaluation of each one of them. The application of these strategies in the adequate management of emotions in the work area is recommended, which could offer positive results in achieving organizational achievements.
