Technological and digital advances have allowed communication platforms to expand as human needs evolve and as society faces challenges. Therefore, higher education institutions (HEIs) are no strangers to these changes and must align with the challenges of sustainability, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that generate guarantees of inclusion for individuals who are in challenging environments and that make it impossible for them to physically access an education. In this sense, the Facebook platform can be positioned as a strategic tool to promote SDGs 4 and 12 of the 2030 Agenda, where this platform is integrated for educational purposes and not as a means of socializing management activities. And thus, enhance its benefits to reach the community with educational resources and free training programs that allow the dissemination of sustainable academic content. The purpose of the study is to determine whether the promotion of academic events and educational resources by HEIs on their Facebook fan page has a significant impact on the type of content consumed by HEIs. Through a correlational study with Spearman’s test, three dimensions were correlated to test the hypothesis. One of the most important results highlighted by the research is that there is a significant relationship between UF2 and PG1 through the interaction of female students.

摘要
