Geothermal energy has significant potential as a renewable, ecological and sustainable resource. However, it is rarely used globally, especially in Morocco, particularly in the industrial sector. In addition, many globally developed approaches heavily rely on the availability of reservoir data. However, in the early stages of geothermal development, data on reservoirs are often limited. Therefore, probabilistic analysis methodologies are widely adopted to estimate the energy potential. This paper utilises the volumetric approach to evaluate the energy resource by considering a range of values for various reservoir parameters through Monte Carlo simulation. The study indicates that the Northeast region of Morocco has considerable potential for both heating and power generation purposes.
