This study employs a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model to investigate the transformative potential of energy policies in the Moroccan context. Through two simulations, we explore the impact of increasing renewable energy production and encouraging energy efficiency measures among households. The findings reveal significant improvements in key economic indicators, including investment, household income, imports, and GDP. Morocco’s unique renewable energy potential and the active role of households in energy conservation underscore the nation’s capacity to achieve sustainability goals. This study not only contributes to academic discourse but also presents actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders, positioning Morocco as a regional leader in sustainable energy practices and economic growth.
