The Inevitability of Further Warming Means that Adaptation Is Crucial, But Will the Global South Be Able to Adapt?
摘要
The Paris Climate Agreement, adopted in 2015, calls for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on one hand, and adapting the world population and economy to inevitable unfavorable climate change on the other. Both of these policies are of equal importance in the document. That is why all of its signatories are required to develop national strategies for reducing GHG emissions as well as national adaptation plans.
