The purpose of this study was to determine how supply chain management helps SMEs gain a competitive advantage. Given the purpose of the study, the researcher employed the descriptive analytical method. The study population comprised employees of SMEs, with around 96 organizations in total. The researcher relied on the questionnaire as a tool for the study, which consisted of (27) items. The questionnaires subject to statistical analysis amounted to (191) questionnaires, which is approximately (93%). The replies from study sample were examined using the statistical analysis tool (SPSS). Several statistical methods were used, such as one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression. The study reached several results, most notably: supply chain management’s statistically significant contribution to gaining a competitive advantage, as supply chain management came within the high level; The mathematical average for supply chain management reached (3.90), with a percentage of (81.6%), and the competitive advantage was at a high level, as the arithmetic mean reached (3.75), utilizing a proportion of (0.881). The study recommends that inputs and outputs must be harmonized to suit the request and delivery date size, considering the transportation and storage period.
