Emerging Technologies in the Middle East: Artificial Intelligence Adoption and Performance Expectancy in SMEs
摘要
The concept of performance expectancy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) acceptance, particularly in collectivist societies, holds considerable importance. In these cultural contexts, AI's performance evaluation primarily focuses on its ability to boost group productivity and encourage collective accomplishments, rather than highlighting individual achievements. This research endeavors to examine the impact of specific factors on performance expectancy in the context of AI acceptance within Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was utilized as the analytical methodology to analyze 328 valid responses. The findings derived from the SEM analysis indicate a positive influence of all hypothesized factors on performance expectancy. The confirmation of all hypotheses emphasizes the relevance of these variables in harmonizing AI adoption with Jordan's unique cultural and business characteristics.
