The Influence of Relative Advantage on the Acceptance of Artificial Intelligence in Jordanian SMEs
摘要
Organizations are increasingly adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive innovation and maintain competitive edges. This study centers on examining how relative advantage influences the acceptance of AI in Jordanian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework and the Artificially Intelligent Device Use Acceptance (AIDUA) framework were integrated in this study and then extended with the concept of relative advantage. A cross-sectional survey was conducted, involving 530 managers from various Jordanian SMEs. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to rigorously validate both the measurement and structural models of the research. The findings reveal that the relative advantage of AI significantly affects factors such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and emotional responses toward AI acceptance. Based on these insights, a series of recommendations have been developed to guide future AI adoption strategies in SMEs.
