The paper presents The Big Game, one of the most significant and effective Italian set of comprehensive and integrated actions aimed at: (a) raising cybersecurity awareness, education & training in the country, (b) tackling the cybersecurity skill shortage, (c) reducing the gender gap, increasing girls’ interests in the topic, and (d) creating and growing both a community of cyber defenders by investing in young talents, and, at the same time, a community of high school teachers more and more involved in cybersecurity issues. Both the key features of the program and its several composing activities are analyzed, pointing out its institutional recognitions and its fulfillment with the Italian National Cybersecurity Strategy 2022–2026.
