This is not a scientific text. It is the conclusion of this anthology, written from the perspective of the project leader of the Institute of Eco-Industrial Development (IECO). This project was developed, applied for, set up, and managed under my leadership. Many people were involved, both scientifically and administratively. Their work is made evident by the numerous contributions in this volume. In this concluding chapter, I would like to look back on the project and make recommendations that could be important for such projects in the future.
