It is critical to effectively manage depression for AYA cancer survivors, ranging from prevention to intervention. This chapter considers well-established approaches in preventing, timely detecting, and effective intervening for depression. In addition, the latest advancement in technology-assisted depression management, such as the use of artificial intelligence is presented, including a discussion on future research directions. The chapter ends with an in-depth discussion on psychotherapeutic interventions, which remains to be the best-supported approaches for depression management in AYAs with cancer.
