This study explores the intersection of Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM) with graphic engineering techniques to address sustainable development goals (SDGs) in heritage divulgation and conservation studies on Andalusian heritage cities which tackle most SDGs, particularly SDG 11 (“Sustainable Cities and Communities”) targets: safe and affordable housing; protection of cultural and natural heritage; and support for sustainable and resilient building. The project applies HBIM integrated with advanced scanning and modeling technologies to a historical house museum in Cordoba, Spain, showcasing the utility of graphic engineering tools in heritage divulgation and conservation. The core objectives are to integrate Scan to Building Information Modeling (BIM) with graphic engineering methodologies, enriching the HBIM process with enhanced visualization and analytical capabilities by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) tools. This involves exploring AI solutions to enhance the Scan-to-BIM process, analyzing and incorporating semi-automatic and automatic solutions to optimize workflow. The research assesses the applicability of these integrated technologies in diverse heritage contexts within the Andalusian heritage. Additionally, it demonstrates the effectiveness of the HBIM workflow combined with these technologies in fostering sustainable heritage tourism through generating interactive and immersive content.
