The New Bridge of Ronda, an iconic structure of Andalusia (Spain), has been the subject of studies due to its heritage significance. Although constructed in the 18th century, its current design differs significantly from the initial plans, owing to modifications during its construction. This research explores the construction process through virtual graphic expression, hypothetically reconstructing its designs based on old blueprints. The search and study of the various proposals that were considered reveal the complexity of the design process. Using modern tools, we have created virtual reconstructions that explore how the bridge might have looked following certain historical projects. These recreations serve as educational tools as well as for research, allowing a better understanding of its evolution and historical context. Virtualization opens new frontiers in the study of architectural heritage, enabling researchers and the public to explore historical structures in innovative ways. These virtual reconstructions also have an impact on heritage preservation by raising awareness of the importance of preserving historical structures like the New Bridge. In conclusion, this work highlights the significance of the New Bridge of Ronda and how virtual graphic expression promotes the appreciation and conservation of architectural heritage for future generations.
