Every human in this world is eligible for expecting security and support as a part of good and healthy life. But in the aspect of blind or visually impaired persons situations will be difficult and cumbersome. Supporting persons will be necessary for them to proceed for daily activities; this is very painful and hurting in some cases which they cannot attempt to share. This work presents a support system for visually impaired or blind people in assisting them to move properly and allowing them to go anywhere they want even in the absence of an attendant. The support system uses an Ultrasonic Distance sensor to detect obstacles, fall detection Accelerometer and GPS navigation system. A mechanism to identify the known registered persons of the user is also provided; this improves the confidence and safety criteria of the blind people. If there is any attack on the user, notifications/alerts will be generated for the responsiveness and immediate action initiation mechanism is also included by identification of location details generated by the GPS module attached to the stick.
