Application of Linear Flow Surface Shell and Revit Parametric Modeling in Architectural Design

As the economy, society, and information technology advance, so does people’s awareness of environmental art design. We examine the use of parametric modeling in architectural design and investigate the viability of applying elastic components to linear flow surface space from the standpoint of the digital evolution of architectural design. The user’s building structure components parameters are utilized as the digital transformation sample in parametric modeling, which is based on Revit’s parameter driven approach. The target building may be utilized as the mapping reference for the function through the digital library of computer mapping, allowing for real-time shaping of the final modeling outcomes. This study highlights the environmental adaptability of its geometry, strong moulability, great structural strength, and light weight of building materials. It also briefly explains the design principles and advantages of flow surface space and integrates it with Revit parametric modeling. Because of this strategy, the architectural model has greatly improved in terms of flexibility, modifiability, and high efficiency.
