Disruptive technologies and legal provisions have the potential to threaten the business of entire industries. Thus, to create sustainable success, it is mandatory for companies to develop the ability to continuously create competitive advantages in even shorter cycles. The purpose of this paper is to initially design and refine a System Dynamics (SD) model derived from the findings of a first test of an Initial Conceptual Model. Some case results from data collected at a large automotive supplier in Germany are also discussed.
