The da Vinci® SP (single port, SP) platform has been uniquely designed for the delivery of robotic minimally invasive surgery through a single incision. As the majority of robotic surgical procedures are performed through multiple incisions this provides a significant contrast. This chapter will review the equipment, operating room setup, and personnel for standard urologic procedures utilizing this platform.
