Robotic Lower Urinary Tract Reconstruction
摘要
Lower urinary tract reconstruction has historically been performed using an open approach with indications including bladder neck contractures, genitourinary fistulas, and proximal urethral strictures. Given the increase familiarity with the robotic surgical technology, there has been a greater transition to robotic-assisted laparoscopic lower urinary tract reconstruction with the potential improved visualization of the pelvic anatomy when compared to the open approach. This chapter describes how to integrate the robotic technology in the field of lower urinary tract reconstruction.
