Rectovesical fistula (RVF) is an uncommon complication of radical prostatectomy, and management can be challenging due to the deep location in the pelvis as well as scarring from prior surgery. Our objective is to describe a robotic technique for transabdominal repair of RVF with omental flap interposition. Appropriate operative setup and technique are keys to a successful and durable repair. We aim to provide an outline on our technique for robotic RVF repair that may serve as a guide to the novice robotic surgeon.
