This chapter combines the best of both authors’ anecdotal and empirical experience (including lessons learned the hard way!) distilled down to our top tips for anyone working on integrating care. Some of the tips relate to planning or administering a Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) service, whereas others are clinical tips that can help guide patient care activities. The tips are not presented in any particular order; we view them all to be equally important, in their own unique way. Further, many of the tips overlap and/or relate closely to others.
