The Special Way of Intangible Cultural Heritage Safeguarding in China and Some New Practices and Concepts
摘要
This paper discusses the changes in the knowledge base and practical modes of ICH safeguarding in China in recent years. The changes in the knowledge base are mainly reflected in the shift from the folkloristics to the arts studies; the new trends are mainly reflected in regional integral revitalization and cross-regional links of ICH items. The paper explains these changes from a macro-historical perspective. In addition, new trends in the safeguarding of ICH are viewed from the perspective of art theories. For example, the classification of ICH is viewed in terms of artistic classification, the Comprehensive Regional Protection of ICH is viewed in terms of the theory of gathering of arts, and cross-regional joint conservation of one ICH item is viewed in terms of the transcendence of art forms.
