Fostering Sustainable Circular Economy Practices in India: A Bibliometric Review of IoT Based Technologies
摘要
India, with its growing population and resource demands, requires a shift towards a circular economy (CE) to ensure sustainability. The Internet of Things (IoT) offers immense potential in this transition by enabling efficient resource tracking and recovery throughout their lifecycles. This study explores the research landscape regarding how IoT can promote CE practices in India through a bibliometric review. Our investigation distinguished four key categories: (1) IoT-related technologies within the CE context, (2) enablers of IoT within the CE, (3) obstructions to IoT selection within the CE, and (4) the impacts of the IoT on the sustainability of circular economies. The study discovers vital drivers and enablers and give a structured framework for inquire about in this field. Finally, this study highlights several research directions that may provide valuable insights for researchers and practitioners interested in promoting CE practices in India using IoT technologies.
