This chapter addresses the definition of Digital Transformation. The chapter starts by showing that many definitions are in use. Then, some of these definitions are listed. The following section of the chapter shows how these different definitions correspond to different types of digital transformation and different viewpoints. The different types of digital transformation are detailed. Finally, a definition is given for Digital Transformation of Industry.
