Orthopaedic Care in Adults with Cerebral Palsy
摘要
The overall prevalence of cerebral palsy (CP) in society is increasing due to increased survival of preterm infants as well as increased survivorship into adulthood. As the number of adults with CP rises, so does the need to address the growing number of problems they face and to improve their quality of care. This chapter provides a summary of the multifactorial challenges these patients face and the most common lower extremity pathologies seen along with surgical and nonsurgical treatment options.
