The Relationship Between Spiritual Intelligence and Loneliness Among Young Adults
摘要
The study aims to investigate the relationship between spiritual intelligence and loneliness among young adults. The data for the study was collected from 253 participants through a convenient sampling method. The De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale and the Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI 24) were the tools utilised for the study. The data analysis was done by using Jamovi software. The result of the research revealed that there was a statistically significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and loneliness and the regression analysis showed that the spiritual intelligence is accounted for only 1.53% of the variance in loneliness, suggesting that other factors may also play a more significant role in predicting loneliness. To investigate the underlying mechanisms that might account for this association, further research is required.
