This qualitative research aims to enhance our understanding of the postnatal care environment by investigating the intricate issues faced by therapists who offer postnatal services in Malaysia. The study examines the challenges encountered by postnatal therapists in Malaysia through conducting in-depth interviews with fifteen respondents. The findings underscore the significance of cultural traditions and focus on the challenges associated with accessing and delivering postpartum healthcare. The findings highlight the importance of focused initiatives to improve the quality and accessibility of childbirth-related services, as well as the complexities of care delivery. The thematic analysis framework is employed to exhibit methodological rigor, and this study addresses a substantial lacuna in the literature by providing a perspective on the perspectives of postnatal therapists. This study provides valuable insights for enhancing the quality and accessibility of services aimed at promoting the well-being of mothers and infants during critical postpartum time. Furthermore, it helps us understand the difficulties and issues linked with postpartum care in Malaysia. Healthcare professionals, legislators, and community stakeholders should collaborate to create culturally sensitive plans for providing postnatal care.
