Malaysia is at a crucial point in its efforts to preserve human values among its younger generation as it navigates the challenges presented by the Industrial Revolution 5.0 and works to become a developed nation. This essay makes the case that the Malaysia Madani concept's current emphasis on intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical growth is insufficient to produce the kind of successful person that is envisioned. A deterioration in qualities like social interaction maturity, politeness, and humanism has been attributed to the ubiquitous effect of artificial intelligence and technological advancement. The essay argues for a reassessment of the educational paradigm and proposes that the inclusion of social interaction in school should be guided by the moral and decency values of Rukun Negara. It suggests the incorporation of extracurricular activities to foster healthy relationships and character development, addressing the younger generation's lack of social interaction skills and communication maturity. The paper highlights the critical role of academic administrators, especially lecturers, and advocates for a change in emphasis from a narrow concentration on research and international rankings to a more inclusive approach that incorporates moral values. This includes qualities like patriotism, nobility, purity, and sustained national development. The significance of inclusive education at the tertiary level is emphasized, with a focus on eliminating obstacles to learning and fostering an atmosphere that actively rejects discrimination and bullying. In the end, the paper argues that in order to realize the goal of a holistic approach, informed by the principles of Rukun Negara, is essential to realizing the vision of a prosperous and socially responsible individual amidst the rapid evolution of Malaysian society.
