People’s views on Islam vary widely. Some actively seek out information about the religion, and when presented with an objective portrayal of its message, they earnestly choose to convert to Islam, considering it their absolute faith. Motivated by genuine instinct, they find themselves drawn exclusively to Islam, rejecting any other belief system. One of the valuable current technological means that can greatly assist new Muslim to learn their religion and shorten time and distances is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications. The AI and its various systems that mimics humans’ intellectual abilities may facilitate conversion and can play an increasing role in presenting and educating the religion. The current study is a scientific attempt to scrutinize the efficiency of AI and its applications in dealing with the educational challenges of new Muslims. The article examines, through its inductive, analytical and descriptive approach, the opportunities that such AI’s systems as Expert Systems, Chatbots, Robots and Augmented Reality can better serve new Muslims to learn and practice their religious obligations. It gives a special focus to introduce future visions and ethical framework for the developers of such advanced technology to employ this technology in serving religious and human values. The article concludes that there is an urgent need to pace with the reality of this digital age and accept the fact that AI is very significant and indispensable contemporary tool in presenting Islam and educating new Muslims their religion. However, a high level of attention must be paid to the great challenge of the inputs and outputs of such technology which depends mainly on the ideological and intellectual backgrounds of its developers and users.
