Enhancing Sustainable Development in Bahrain: The Critical Role of Occupational Health and Safety
摘要
The achievement of sustainable development in Bahrain requires the implementation of a comprehensive strategy, whereby occupational health and safety (OHS) assumes a crucial position. This research investigates the influence of occupational health and safety (OHS) on sustainable development in Bahrain, examining the ways in which these practices contribute to the achievement of economic, social, and environmental objectives. This study utilizes a qualitative research approach to integrate information from several academic sources. Secondary data is used to investigate the correlation between occupational health and safety (OHS) and sustainable development. A comprehensive examination was undertaken to get insights into the wider ramifications of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices within the specific setting of Bahrain. The research demonstrates that implementing efficient occupational health and safety (OHS) measures is essential for achieving sustainable growth, resulting in increased economic performance, higher social welfare, and decreased environmental impact. The study revealed that strict occupational health and safety (OHS) legislation, together with comprehensive training and awareness initiatives, make a substantial contribution to achieving sustainable results. The study also emphasizes the need of implementing extensive monitoring and reporting procedures in order to assess the efficacy of occupational health and safety (OHS) measures. Occupational health and safety (OHS) standards play a crucial role in attaining sustainable development in Bahrain. This research highlights the need of bolstering occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, improving training and awareness programs, and implementing efficient monitoring and reporting mechanisms. Subsequent investigations need to prioritize the examination of the quantitative effects of occupational health and safety (OHS) on sustainability indicators, while also broadening the scope of the study to include primary data gathering in order to attain a more comprehensive comprehension of this association.
