This chapter presents a pattern language for trust modeling in ArchiMate (Amaral,Sales, Guizzardi, Almeida, et al., 2020), based on the Reference Ontology of Trust (see chapter 4) and on the Common Ontology of Value and Risk (see section 3.2 of chapter 3), which consists of a set of interrelated modeling patterns that can be used to model trust in the context of Enterprise Architecture (EA). ArchiMate was chosen as it is a widely used modeling standard in the EA field, which is also aligned to the TOGAF standard (The Open Group, 2018).
