Urban vegetation is analyzed from the viewpoint of landscape ecology and its morphology, architectural typology. Landscape ecology arises from the relationship between the fields of knowledge of Geography and Ecology, recognizing the social and ecological process of the city landscape’s evolution, distinguishing the field of ecological research as a combination of social and human sciences. Restrictions increased by verticalization caused most of the changes in the architectural typology in the urban landscape of the Central Trade Zone of Maringá, Paraná, Brazil, which has an area of 1,284,439.20 m2, 62 orthogonal blocks and 1237 lots. We demonstrate how morphology and architectural typology impact urban vegetation characteristics, through the parameters of land use in its planning.

摘要
