ISO 9001 and Employee Performance: A Conceptual Framework
摘要
This paper builds a model related to the intersection between the implementation of ISO 9001, the world's leading quality management standard, and its impact on employee performance. ISO 9001, initially released in 1987 and most recently updated in 2015, serves as a comprehensive framework for organizations to demonstrate their ability to deliver products and services meeting regulatory and customer requirements. The paper explores factors influencing employee performance, such as communication, motivation, job knowledge, and leadership. Drawing from various studies and research, it presents a comprehensive overview of how these factors contribute to or hinder employee performance. By reviewing existing studies, the paper provides a thorough understanding of the relationship between ISO 9001 implementation and employee performance. It also contributes to the existing literature by synthesizing information on factors influencing employee performance, ultimately guiding organizations in optimizing their quality management practices for improved workforce efficiency.
