Psycho-social Approach to Analyse Coastal Social Perception
摘要
Considering the complexity of coastal territory and the high expectations of its users, it becomes essential to understand the perceptive component underlying the liveability of coastal open spaces. These places have indeed a high impact on coastal society and are essential for sustainable spatial design. Thus, the implementation of socio-recreational practices along the city-sea interface should deal with coastal-environmental protection and the enhancement of citizens’ well-being. It is here presented a psycho-social approach directed towards quantitative research in order to verify assumptions through field surveys and questionnaires, translating concepts into measurable variables.
