Community Psychology
摘要
Community psychology (CP) is an inter- and transdisciplinary field and framework that has evolved globally in response to context-specific challenges and forms of oppression. Distinct from positivist psychology, which often prioritizes individual-level analysis, CP emphasizes social justice, ecological thinking, and praxis, and is guided by core values and principles that transcend disciplinary boundaries. The field grapples with ongoing debates and tensions, including balancing respect for diversity with fostering a sense of community, while confronting enduring challenges related to colonization, white supremacy, and social change. These challenges also open opportunities for transformation, such as decolonial approaches. Amid rising global crises, including climate change and technological disruption, CP is uniquely positioned to address complex social issues while centering the lived experiences and expertise of marginalized communities.
