Trends and Variability in Concentrations and Source Contributions of 2002–2019 Ozone and Particulate Matter Over the Northern Hemisphere
摘要
In this study, we analyze Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) model simulations performed over the Northern Hemisphere for 2002, 2010, 2014, and 2018. The simulations were configured with the Integrated Source Apportionment Method (ISAM) tool to estimate the contributions of emissions from anthropogenic and natural sources from different regions to simulated concentrations. These source contributions are then analyzed to determine their spatial and temporal fluctuations with a particular emphasis on their impacts on concentrations over the United States.
