In this chapter it is discussed how country and culture variables might impact upon AI attitude formation. Country is described as the variable being more linked to the political environment of people—for instance as shaped by AI regulation—and culture is discussed more in terms of psychological and sociological traits such as individualistic or collectivistic world views. The chapter provides a short introduction into this important new research field and provides an outlook on what needs to be done in future research.
