This chapter aims to disentangle how the diversity turn has affected migrant integration in the local urban governance of Antwerp, Belgium. Starting with the tensions between sceptical and optimistic discourses on diversity, I discuss various politics of integration through which societies grant migrants access to citizenship and accommodate cultural differences. Drawing on theories of post-political governance and (de)politicisation, I argue that broadening diversity beyond migrants and ethnic minorities has been a strategy for depoliticising the role of migrant organisations in the urban governance of Antwerp, Belgium. Based on a discourse analysis of multilevel integration and diversity policies and interviews with actors, I shed light on how diversity management led to the dissolution of multicultural provisions at a local urban level.
