As the Computer technology is continuously developing a smaller and smaller electronic device to reduce the human efforts and increase the efficiency of using that device. Due to day by day changes in the computer technology it is very essential to find new and alternate way for Human Computer Interaction. As in today’s world mostly of the device’s system is made of touch screen technology, which is not affordable for everyone and for every devices, almost every device is changed but what has not changes is the way to provide input. So to increase the HCI developed system provides a new way of input with the help of Hand Gesture Recognition. As HGR plays very important role in the HCI, user can control most of the mouse events with the help of HGR, webcam and some built in libraries like medipipe, opencv, autopy etc. The proposed system is a “Handling Mouse Events using Finger’s landmarks”, which uses finger’s landmarks that are captured from a camera with the help of hands module of the mediapipe library developed by the Google. Proposed system allows the user to perform mouse events like single click, double click, right click, scroll up and down, volume up and down by using web-camera or external attached camera with the computer without using a traditional mouse. Designed system have improved accuracy as compare to the existing system.
