The chapter sets out the organisation of the guide. It comprises the relations between the initial UX description in general, the UX practitioner source material and the UX guide notes. First, the UX guide notes link to the initial UX description in general. Second, the UX guide notes link to the practitioner UX contributions. Last, the UX guide notes link the initial UX description in general to the UX practitioner source material by identifying descriptors in the latter not in the former. The UX contributions describing UX in general are organised chronologically. Grant is pre-UX. Chakraborty, Sinclair and Timmer are concurrent UX. Blyth is post-UX. Their positions with regard to UX in general are identified. Chapters 5 and 6 address source material describing UX design practice and framing UX design practice in like manner.
