Initial Description for Framing UX Design Practice

The chapter proposes an initial description for framing UX design practice. It is characterised in terms of everyday language. It comprises—framing, as application of structures; framework, as application of structures for frame and framing; approach, as application of structures having scope, structure and perspective; method, as application of types of method structures; case study, as application of structures to organise a case study report; framing UX, as application of UX structures; UX framework, as application of UX structures for UX frame and UX framing; UX approach, as application of UX structures having scope, structure and perspective; UX method, as the application of UX method structures; UX case study, as application of UX structures to organise a UX case study report. Together they constitute the basis for the initial UX description to be carried forward for application to the UX practitioner source material in later chapters. The carry-forward from Chaps. 1 – 3 appears in Appendix 1.
